Weather Conditions
During the blossom season, Skardu Valley experiences mild, comfortable spring weather with cool mornings and evenings. Daytime temperatures range between 10°C and 20°C, depending on the area and altitude. Nights can still feel cold, especially near the rivers or in higher villages. Snow remains visible on surrounding peaks, and the air stays crisp and fresh throughout the season. The stable spring climate makes it ideal for exploring orchards, valleys, lakes, and heritage sites.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to witness cherry, apricot, and apple blossoms in Skardu is from late March to mid-April. Lower parts of Skardu, including areas around the airport, Kachura, and Shigar Road, begin blooming in the last week of March. Upper villages like Organic Market surroundings, Hoto, and Sadpara often reach full bloom in the first and second week of April.
